Es necesario recordar que también la incineración genera una serie de residuos (escorias y cenizas) que es necesario gestionar conforme a sus características. Por lo que en último término solo el vertido ofrece una solución finalista (nótese que en 2009 la producción de CDR o CSR a partir de residuos municipales apenas se había desarrollado): Figura 4.8.5.
