Fuente: IH Cantabria Se ha obtenido la caracterización del recurso de energía a lo largo de la costa española con una resolución espacial de 0.1o x 0.1o a 20, 50, 100 m de calado y en profundidades indefinidas. Esta información se ha almacenado en una ficha para cada punto de interés como la que se muestra en la figura 4.4.17, correspondiente a la profundidad de 100 m. El recurso de energía del oleaje se caracteriza mediante la potencia media y su distribución en sectores direccionales según la dirección media de la energía del oleaje, total y estacional, la función de distribución empírica de la potencia total y estacional, y la estacionalidad mensual de la potencia a partir de una serie de estadísticos. En la tabla 4.4.1 se presentan los valores de potencia media por comunidades autónomas, tanto el valor medio de todos los puntos situados en los bordes exteriores de las mallas de propagación (profundidades indefinidas), como su desviación típica, valor máximo y valor mínimo; de esta forma no solo es posible dar el valor promedio de la potencia por comunidad autónoma, sino también la variación del recurso a lo largo de las costas de cada zona. Así por ejemplo, en el País Vasco la potencia media no varía sustancialmente en profundidades indefinidas, en cambio en las Islas Canarias se obtienen grandes variaciones, debido fundamentalmente al marcado contraste entre el clima marítimo de las costas orientadas al Norte frente a las orientadas al Sur. 232PDF Image | PLAN DE ENERGIAS RENOVABLES
