Procedimiento general de IH Cantabria de caracterización de los recursos energéticos en una determinada zona en profundidades intermedias o reducidas Fuente: IH Cantabria La metodología integral que se aplica comprende los siguientes pasos (ver Figura 4.4.14): a) Análisis de las bases de datos de oleaje disponibles. b) Calibración de los datos de reanálisis en profundidades indefinidas utilizando datos de satélite. c) Clasificación de los estados de mar a propagar. d) Propagación de los estados de mar seleccionados. e) Reconstrucción de la serie temporal en los puntos objetivos. f) Validación con boyas g) Caracterización del recurso energético mediante la aplicación de modelos estadísticos. Los resultados se presentan en forma de: Mapas a lo largo de todo el litoral. Mapas por mallas de cálculo: los mapas a nivel de malla permiten visualizar con un mayor detalle las características del recurso energético, no solo a nivel de la cantidad de potencia sino también a su distribución direccional. Fichas resumen en más de 1.000 puntos a lo largo de la costa, a 20, 50, 100 m de calado y en profundidades indefinidas. Figura 4.4.15.
