Resto de Industria. Entendiendo como tal las aportaciones del subsector madera, corcho y muebles fundamentalmente. Alimentación, bebidas y tabaco. Minerales no metálicos. El resto de subsectores tienen aportaciones poco significativas aunque, en conjunto, no pueden subestimarse. En general las fluctuaciones en el consumo de biomasa térmica para la industria han estado ocasionadas por las variaciones en la producción de los subsectores mencionados influyendo, en algunos casos, la entrada de la cogeneración con gas en industrias. Podemos distinguir tres periodos de evolución. Uno inicial de 1973 a 1985 donde las fluctuaciones en las industrias forestales, tanto del papel como de la madera, marcaban claramente la tendencia del consumo de biomasa. A partir de 1985 y hasta el año 2000 el incremento sectorial y el inicio del uso generalizado de los subproductos del sector de la industria de la madera provoca un aumento del consumo de biomasa, a pesar de la ligera disminución relativa del consumo en la industria agroalimentaria y de pasta y papel. Durante este periodo la industria de pasta y papel, así como las cerámicas, centran sus inversiones de desarrollos de cogeneración con gas, lo que limita el crecimiento del consumo de biomasa. 208PDF Image | PLAN DE ENERGIAS RENOVABLES
