El modelo realizado muestra un elevado nivel de ajuste con los precios del gas históricos, con lo que puede considerarse que el modelo es un predictor razonable del precio del gas ante diferentes escenarios de precio del crudo. En cualquier caso, las proyecciones se verán afectadas tanto por la indexación real de los contratos que se firmen o renegocien a futuro, con las posibles modificaciones en el mix de materias primas y relación temporal, como por la existencia de pivotes al precio del crudo u otras materias primas que no son contempladas en regresiones históricas. Como se puede entender fácilmente, el impacto de las desviaciones sobre las proyecciones del modelo será mayor cuanto más alejado en el tiempo nos encontremos. Cabe destacar que, tal y como se ha indicado anteriormente, el modelo de precios de gas —cuya metodología se puede consultar en el estudio correspondiente1— muestra un elevado nivel de ajuste.
