Estos fenómenos siguen ejerciendo un impacto positivo en la mejora de la intensidad energética, aún en el contexto de la crisis, como se desprende de la evolución de la demanda energética, por debajo del de la productividad económica. Esto último se constata a partir de la observación de la evolución del indicador de intensidad final en España con correcciones climáticas y a estructura constante, lo que permite diferenciar el efecto de distintos factores en la mejora registrada en la intensidad energética en los últimos años.
