For this reason, several organisations are incorporating reforestation into their practical interventions and leading advocacy activities on the theme of climate change adaptation by means of reforestation. For example, Christian aid local partner organisation Solidarité Fwontalye works with rural populations in northern haiti on a Climate Change adaptation and Food Security programme which aims to reduce the effects of climate change and strengthen the resilience of the population by means of reforestation activities, the installation of nurseries, and training sessions on climate impact for local people.
