Our ambition: strengthen the competitiveness of our members through innovation, in particular technological innovation. Since 2013, S2E2 has built a new department in its organization about renewable marine energies which consists in gathering industrials and academics to foster collaborative R&D projects and to identify technological roadblocks targeting the MRE market. The relative topics are: MRE park, electrical network, cabling, sub- marine connectivity, energy quality, energy conversion, energy storage, production prediction tools, automatism and supervision, energy management, HVDC network, electric turbine/generator. S2E2 is helping one of its first R&D collaborative projects about wave energy which is called SEAREV.
