These values are constant across all technologies unless otherwise indicated. When they do vary by technology a comment in the workbook explains how they change and for what technologies. These specific assignments are made in the code and cannot be changed by the user. As these are generally rates that do not change over time, they are simply copied as-is from this table and supplied to the system for use in the calculations. The Utility and Societal Discount Rates are used to calculate the levelized values in the LCOC worksheet. The Demand Savings Ratio is used to estimate the value of demand given the levels of kWh for a given rate. The value of this variable is 80% for all technologies except PV and Wind, where the code sets it to zero for these technologies.
