Palancas de reducción de coste en los parques eólicos marinos Fuente: BCG Eólica de pequeña potencia Para las instalaciones eólicas de pequeña potencia previstas en España en el horizonte 2020, es necesario realizar consideraciones diferenciadas en función de la potencia, pues tanto los ratios de inversión como los niveles de aprovechamiento energético son extremadamente variables en función del tamaño y potencia de la máquina a conectar a red. En este sentido, se estima la siguiente senda como referencia para la evolución anual prevista para los ratios técnico-económicos (en moneda constante, con año base 2010) y de producción, en el período 2011-2020: − Ratio de inversión: o P ≤ 10 kW: reducción progresiva con pendiente media anual del -7% (curva de aprendizaje tecnológica) desde los 3.500 €/kW en 2011, hasta los 1.820 €/kW en 2020. o 10 kW < P ≤ 100 kW: reducción progresiva con pendiente media anual del - 5% desde los 2.700 €/kW en 2011, hasta los 1.700 €/kW en 2020. − Nivel de aprovechamiento energético (horas equivalentes): o P ≤ 10 kW: incremento progresivo desde las 1.200 h en 2011, hasta las 1.550 h en 2020. o 10 kW < P ≤ 100 kW: incremento progresivo desde las 1.780 h en 2011, hasta las 1.980 h en 2020. Estas hipótesis se basan en los modelos comerciales cercanos al límite superior de cada uno de los rangos establecidos, lo que resulta especialmente gravoso para las instalaciones en niveles de potencia menores de 3-5 kW de potencia. Por ello, en este plan se contemplan actuaciones específicas para apoyar estas instalaciones, vía subvenciones complementarias a la retribución régimen especial , permitiéndolas alcanzar ratios de rentabilidad técnico-económica razonables.
