Filtrado medioambiental: zonificación del “Estudio Estratégico Ambiental del Litoral Español” (EEAL) El “Estudio Estratégico Ambiental del Litoral Español”, aprobado en abril de 2009 por los Ministerios de Medio Ambiente y Medio Rural y Marino e Industria, Turismo y Comercio incluye una zonificación marina, según el grado de afección de los potenciales parques eólicos marinos mayores de 50 MW escala general de planificación, con el siguiente código de colores: − Color rojo: “zonas de exclusión”, en las que se detectó incompatibilidad entre la existencia de parques eólicos marinos (mayores de 50 MW) y los usos o actividades ya establecidos. − Color amarillo: “zonas aptas con condicionantes”, donde el desarrollo de parques eólicos marinos está condicionado, a falta de mayor información de detalle. − Color verde: “zonas aptas”, en las que no se detectó incompatibilidad, en términos de planificación estratégica. Cabe resaltar que la aptitud ambiental definitiva de la implantación eólica marina en las zonas clasificadas como “aptas” y “aptas con condicionantes” se determinará para cada proyecto específico, tras los necesarios estudios de detalle.
