De las proyecciones obtenidas se establece que: - El 35% del incremento de la energía térmica consumida por el sector pasta, papel e impresión se producirá mediante cogeneración con Ciclo Rankine. - El 10% del incremento de la energía térmica consumida por el sector madera, corcho y cuebles, incluyendo plantas de pelets se producirá mediante cogeneración con gasificación. - El 20% del incremento de la energía térmica consumida por el sector alimentación, bebidas y tabaco se producirá mediante cogeneración con Ciclo ORC. De los análisis realizados puede establecerse que las instalaciones de cogeneración en sectores difusos, a través de plantas de pequeña potencia cercanas al recurso, es una de las bases para alcanzar los objetivos previstos en biomasa eléctrica ya que los parámetros de configuran las mismas implican una mayor agilidad a la hora de desarrollar estos proyectos. Además de la cogeneración en el sector industrial, cabe esperar el inicio del desarrollo de sistemas de cogeneración dentro de los sectores residencial y servicios con aplicaciones térmicas para climatización. Aunque inicialmente estos sectores no supondrán un incremento significativo frente a las cogeneraciones industriales puede considerarse que existirá un apoyo a la consecución de objetivos derivado de estas aplicaciones. Para un total de 6.000 horas de operación, la potencia incrementada anualmente por sectores será la siguiente: Figura 4.3.18.
