The plant is designed to receive and process different types of segregated clean and treated biomass and wood-waste fuels. The plant can operate on a single source feedstock basis or on a variable and mixed feedstock basis where differently source feedstock is blended together, which will allow for maximum feedstock flexibility now and in the future. Acceptable Fuel (feedstock) Wood chip Waste wood from a single source Chicken litter Agricultural residues & waste Specially grown biomass crops Compost oversize Garden waste Paper & cardboard RDF (larger units only) Waste wood from multiple sources (larger units only) BPL ORC CHP Power Plant The power plant will consist of: Combustor - produces a gas and feeds to .... Biomass-fired hot water boiler - built to comply with guidelines on solid waste fuels, which supplies hot water into ... ORC power module - with an air cooled condenser. The plant will be controlled from a central control system. Integrated into the system are residual ash handling and flue gas treatment facilities to ensure emissions standards are met. Biomass only for smaller systems and WID compliance for larger units Page 2 of 5
