These costs were developed for three condensing loads (100,000, 250,000, and 400,000 lb steam/hr) for two condensing pressures (3 and 4 in. Hga) at an ambient wet bulb temperature of 78o F. Figure 8-10 and 8-11 display curves constructed from these data in $/kWe vs. steam condensation load at two values of Tcond – Twet bulb. (37oF and 47 oF). Corresponding points for the case study results at 1,000,000 lb steam/hr were read from Figures 8-2 and 8-7 and plotted on Figures 8-10 and 8-11.
