Additional cost reductions will be realized by minimization of the number of required parts, simplification of fabrication and field erection reducing labor costs for on-site assembly and erection. This cost reduction potential has not been quantified in this evaluation since there has not been an actual erection of a new collector structure. The individual metal parts of the structure can readily be manufactured by suppliers worldwide, leading to potential cost reductions through competition. However, structure cost reductions due to commercialization were not specifically considered in this evaluation.
